What to Pack for a Virgin Voyages Cruise
Virgin's dress code is refreshingly simple: dress like you. There are no formal nights and no black-tie dinners, so you can leave the tux and ballgown at home. Aim for relaxed-but-elevated — the kind of thing you'd wear to a nice dinner or a rooftop bar.
A simple 7-day starting point
Mix-and-match tops and a few bottoms, a couple of dresses or nicer outfits for dinner, and layers — evenings and the theater run cool.
Two or three swimsuits and a cover-up, plus comfortable walking shoes and one dressier pair.
A red outfit for Scarlet Night and PJs for the PJ Party — the two themed nights worth packing for.
The clever extras that make cabin life easier
Magnetic hooks — the cabin walls are metal, so hooks give you instant extra hanging space.
Reef-safe sunscreen, a wide-brim hat, and SPF lip balm (sunscreen is sold onboard if you forget).
Your own shampoo/conditioner if you're particular, and any medications in a simple organizer.
What you can skip: beach towels (provided), and about 25% of what you first pack — nobody dresses up as much as they think they will. You're allowed to bring up to two 750ml bottles of wine per cabin, too.
