How deposits, final payments, and price drops usually work.

Your deposit
A deposit reserves your cabin and locks in your fare. It's usually a set amount per person (or a percentage), due when you book. Some promotions feature reduced — or even $0 — deposits, and we'll tell you what's available for your sailing.
Paying for a cruise is simpler than most people expect — a deposit to hold your fare, then the balance closer to sailing. Here's how it generally works, and how we make sure you never miss a date or a chance to save.

The final payment date
The balance is due by the cruise line's final payment date — often around 75–120 days before you sail (earlier for longer or luxury voyages). We track it for you and remind you in plenty of time, so a booking is never lost by accident.

Price drops
Cruise fares change constantly. If the price drops before final payment, we work to reprice your booking or capture the savings as onboard credit — depending on the line and fare rules. It's one of the quiet perks of having an advisor in your corner.

Ways to pay
Pay your deposit now and the balance any time before the final date — most lines let you make payments along the way, and some offer monthly payment plans. We'll lay out the options for your trip.

Before final payment
Up until the final payment date, most changes are easy — dates, cabins, even the sailing itself can often be adjusted. Tell us what you're thinking and we'll handle it.

Cancellations & refunds
After final payment, cancellation fees apply on a sliding scale that grows as you near sailing. Refundable and non-refundable fares differ, and travel insurance can protect your investment — we'll make sure you understand the terms before you book.
The savings don't stop at booking. Even after you've paid your deposit, we keep an eye on your fare — if the price drops or a better promotion appears, we'll pursue it for you. It's one of the reasons clients tell us they'll never book any other way.
