Scarlet Night & Themed Nights: What to Expect
Every Virgin sailing has one night that turns the whole ship into a party, and it's called Scarlet Night. Think of it as a floating festival with one instruction: wear red.
How the night unfolds
Scarlet Night builds over the evening — a little storytelling, a toast, performances from the entertainment team — and peaks with a big pool-deck celebration up at the Aquatic Club, music going, everyone in red, and a splash-friendly party atmosphere that runs late. It's playful, a bit theatrical, and genuinely one of the highlights people talk about long after they're home.
What to wear
Red, however you want to interpret it — a dress, a shirt, full costume, a boa, whatever makes you smile. There are no formal nights on Virgin and no dress codes to stress about, so this is your chance to have fun with it. Pack one red item (or two) and you're set.
The rest of the week
Scarlet Night is the marquee event, but it's not the only one — expect additional pop-up parties, deck events, and spontaneous fun throughout the sailing, all run by Virgin's onboard entertainers. And remember, the whole ship is adults-only (18+), so the energy stays grown-up.
