If your idea of cruise food is a crowded buffet line, Virgin Voyages is about to change your mind. There's no buffet anywhere on board. Instead, you get more than 20 individual eateries — most of them proper, sit-down restaurants — and here's the part people can't believe the first time: they're all included in your fare. No cover charges, no dining package to buy, no "specialty" upsell.
The headliners
A handful of restaurants do the heavy lifting, and they're genuinely good:
The Wake — a glamorous steakhouse and seafood room at the back of the ship.
Pink Agave — modern Mexican, from the guacamole to the mole.
Gunbae — Korean BBQ you grill at the table, built around a few drinking games and a lot of laughs.
Extra Virgin — handmade pasta and Italian classics.
The Test Kitchen — a chef-driven, part-laboratory tasting experience for the adventurous.
Razzle Dazzle — the playful, veg-forward spot with cheeky indulgent options too (and on most ships, now reinvented — see below).
And when you want something casual
The Galley is Virgin's food-hall answer to the buffet — order from different counters and grab a seat. There's also pizza, a diner-style spot, great coffee, and late-night bites. You won't go hungry, and you won't eat the same thing twice.
The restaurant that changes by ship
Here's a quirk worth knowing before you choose a ship: on three of the four Lady ships, the Razzle Dazzle space has been reinvented as a different, ship-exclusive restaurant. Only Resilient Lady still serves the original Razzle Dazzle — on the others you'll find a brand-new concept in its place:
Scarlet Lady — Lucky Lotus by Razzle Dazzle: Chinese-inspired.
Valiant Lady — Ariya by Razzle Dazzle: Indian-inspired.
Brilliant Lady — Rojo by Razzle Dazzle: Spanish-inspired.
They're all still included in your fare — but it's a real reason the ship you pick shapes your trip, and something we factor in when we help you choose. Lineups vary a little by ship, so think of "20+" as the floor, not the ceiling.
