Virgin Voyages Luggage Guide: Tags, Allowance & Drop-Off

Luggage on Virgin is refreshingly low-stress. Here's what to know.

Tags & drop-off

You can print luggage tags at home or get them tagged at the pier with your cabin number. At embarkation, hand your big bags to the porters and they'll be delivered to your cabin within a few hours — which means you can drop everything and go explore or grab lunch before your cabin's ready.

What you can bring

  • No stated weight limit, but bags must be porter-handled and fit in your cabin.

  • Keep day-one essentials (medications, swimsuit, documents) in your carry-on.

  • You may bring up to two bottles of wine per Sailor in your carry-on (spirits and beer aren't permitted to carry on).
