Disembarkation Day on Virgin Voyages: The Smooth Exit

Disembarkation is the one morning that can feel rushed on any cruise — here's how to make it painless on Virgin.

Two ways off

• Express (self walk-off): carry your own bags and leave early (around 7:30–8:30 am), skipping the crowds — perfect if you have a mid-morning flight.

• Standard: set your tagged bags outside your cabin the night before (by about 10 pm) and collect them in the terminal after you walk off. Most Sailors are off by around 10:30 am.

Timing your flight

For a same-day flight, aim for early-afternoon departures or later to be safe. Breakfast venues stay open into the morning, so you're not rushing out hungry.
