Sailing from Los Angeles: Virgin Voyages' West Coast Homeport Guide
Virgin Voyages arrived on the West Coast in 2026, and Brilliant Lady now sails from Los Angeles — specifically the World Cruise Center at Berth 93 in San Pedro, the Port of Los Angeles cruise terminal just south of the city. It's Virgin's grown-up, adults-only take on the classic Mexican Riviera.
Los Angeles Cruise Terminal — the essentials
• Address: Berth 93, 100 Swinford Street, San Pedro, CA 90731 (World Cruise Center, Port of Los Angeles)
• Parking: paid on-site parking is available at the World Cruise Center
• Arrival: come at the Terminal Arrival Time in your app; check-in generally closes about an hour before departure
Getting to San Pedro
From Los Angeles International (LAX) it's roughly 30–40 minutes to San Pedro by taxi or rideshare; Long Beach (LGB) is often closer at about 20 minutes, and Hollywood Burbank (BUR) is an alternative. A car straight to Berth 93 is simplest, and we can pre-arrange a private transfer. If you're driving, the terminal has paid parking on site.
Where Brilliant Lady sails
The West Coast season centers on the Mexican Riviera and Baja — round-trip voyages with calls such as Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán and Ensenada — plus repositioning sailings as Brilliant Lady moves between her Alaska summers and warmer winters (including Panama Canal routes). Lengths and ports vary by date; we'll confirm yours at booking.
Make a trip of it
Fly in a day early and enjoy Los Angeles — the beaches, Hollywood, a great meal — or tack the cruise onto a wider California trip. Arrive at your Terminal Arrival Time, bring a physical credit card for check-in, and keep day-one essentials in your carry-on.
