Virgin Voyages Entertainment & Shows: What's Playing on Every Ship

Virgin threw out the traditional cruise revue and replaced it with something closer to a nights-out lineup: acrobatic theater, drag spectaculars, immersive parties, and comedy — nearly all of it included in your fare. Here's how the entertainment works, and what's actually playing on each Lady.

The Red Room productions

The Red Room is the fleet's transforming main theater — floor seating one night, flat-floor party configuration the next — and it's home to the headline productions: acrobatics, dance, and immersive theater rather than a standard song-and-dance revue. Some shows take reservations in the Sailor App once you're aboard; others are first-come, first-seated. Either way, the Red Room fills fast on sea-day evenings — check the app the moment showtimes post, book what's bookable, and build dinner around the show, not the other way around.

The shows, ship by ship

Each Lady carries her own lineup, and Virgin rotates productions between ships more than most cruise lines — early favorites like Ships in the Night have already cycled out of the fleet. Here's where things stand as of late 2026; treat this as a snapshot rather than a promise, and confirm in the app once you board.

Scarlet Lady

  • Persephone — Greek mythology reimagined with acrobatics, live vocals, and contemporary choreography; the ship's big theatrical statement.

  • Booked: A Lola's Library Story — a storybook-styled prequel to the fleet favorite Lola's Library, mixing dance, acro, and immersive staging.

  • It's a Rock Show-ke — a concert-style party of classic rock and '90s anthems with heavy audience participation.

  • Festival Stage — a rotating slate of comedians, magicians, and specialty acts that changes every sailing.

Valiant Lady

  • UNTITLED DANCESHOWPARTYTHING — a contemporary dance piece that dissolves into a full audience dance party; one of the most talked-about shows in the fleet.

  • Around the World With The Diva — a globe-trotting drag musical spectacular with costume changes to match.

  • The Magnets music residency — a British a cappella group doing live looping and beatboxing with zero backing tracks; two different shows per voyage.

  • Miss Behave Show — a gleefully chaotic audience-participation game show.

  • Festival Stage — the rotating variety slate.

Resilient Lady

  • Persephone — the acrobatic Greek-myth production also plays here.

  • Another Rose — an immersive dinner-theater experience where the meal and the performance are one event (this one carries an extra charge [VERIFY: Another Rose pricing/availability]).

  • Mind Mangler: Member of the Tragic Circle — a comedic send-up of mentalist acts from the Mischief Theatre crowd, exclusive to this ship.

  • Miss Behave Show and Lola's Library round out the roster, plus the Festival Stage rotation.

Brilliant Lady

  • Duel Reality — the acclaimed Seven Fingers acro-theater take on Romeo and Juliet, with rival troupes battling through genuinely jaw-dropping stunts; it moved here from its original home and remains the fleet's must-see.

  • Red Hot — a high-energy musical revue built around Virgin's music legacy.

  • Out of Time — a time-traveling comedy romp through the eras.

  • In The Manor, a cabaret series runs alongside the Red Room: Murder in the Manor (interactive '80s-horror whodunit), Duets, The Diva Goes West (country-fried drag), and Up With a Twist, a paid 1920s supper-club experience.

The pop-ups: The Happenings Cast

Between the scheduled shows, The Happenings Cast creates the entertainment that finds you — interactive experiences, deck performances, and surprise pop-ups that occur organically around the ship, no booking required. Some of the best moments of a Virgin sailing are the ones that weren't on any schedule.

How to do entertainment right

Mix the two: reserve or arrive early for the productions you care about, then leave whole evenings unplanned and let the ship surprise you. If your sailing has Scarlet Night, plan nothing else that evening — it is the show.
