The main categories
Insider — a smartly designed interior cabin and the lowest price on the ship; a great value that doesn't feel like a box (full breakdown below).
Sea View — adds a window or porthole for natural light.
Sea Terrace — Virgin's signature balcony room, complete with a red hammock you'll fight over.
RockStar Suites — a range of named suites with more space and VIP perks.
Mega RockStar Suites — the top tier, culminating in the Massive Suite, which has a private terrace with its own outdoor hot tub.
A closer look at Insiders (the honest version)
The Insider is Virgin's windowless cabin — and at roughly 105–177 square feet, it's compact but genuinely well-designed. For the right Sailor, it's the smartest booking on board.
You get the same design language as the pricier cabins: sea-toned interiors, the rainshower bathroom, smart storage, and Virgin's adjustable mood lighting — which matters more in a windowless room than you'd expect, easing you from "morning" to "getting ready for Scarlet Night" without a single ray of actual sun. What you give up is daylight and orientation: no natural wake-up, no glancing out at the weather. If you've never sailed inside before, know yourself — some people sleep better in total dark; others find it disorienting by day three.

Social Insider — sleeps up to 4 with an L-shaped bed setup; honest warning: tight at full capacity.
