The Cruise Boys® is a trade name of an independent travel advisor affiliated with, and hosted by, KVI Travel (Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada), which acts as the agency of record for bookings arranged through The Cruise Boys®. In this Privacy Policy, “The Cruise Boys®,” “KVI Travel,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to The Cruise Boys® – powered by KVI Travel. This Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you request quotes, book travel, use our website, or otherwise interact with us.

This Privacy Policy is provided together with, and incorporates by reference, our Terms & Conditions. By providing us with personal information or using our services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

To arrange travel, we necessarily collect personal information about you and any travelers on your booking. The categories we may collect include:Information you provide•    Identity & contact details — name, date of birth, gender as shown on identification, mailing and email addresses, and phone number(s).•    Travel-document information — passport or government-ID details, nationality/citizenship, visa information, Known Traveler/Redress numbers, and frequent-traveler/loyalty numbers.•    Booking details — travel dates, destinations, itineraries, cabin/room and seat preferences, and companion/party information.•    Eligibility information — documentation for interline, industry, resident, military, first-responder, or other restricted-rate programs where applicable.•    Special requirements — accessibility, mobility, dietary, or medical information you choose to share so we can request appropriate accommodations. This may be considered sensitive information and is used only to arrange your travel.•    Payment information — the payment-card or account details used to pay for travel. Card payments are generally processed by our host agency, the applicable Supplier, or a third-party payment processor.•    Communications — the content of emails, texts, calls, and messages you send us, and your marketing and communication preferences.Information collected automatically on our website•    Device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, and dates/times of access, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).Information from other sources•    Information from the person who books on your behalf, from Suppliers (e.g., booking confirmations), and from our host agency and service providers.

2. How We Collect It

We collect information directly from you when you contact us, request a quote, or make a booking; automatically when you use our website; and from third parties such as Suppliers, our host agency KVI Travel, and payment processors in the course of arranging and servicing your travel.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:•    prepare quotes and arrange, confirm, modify, and service your travel bookings;•    submit required traveler information to Suppliers and verify eligibility for special rates;•    process payments and manage deposits, balances, refunds, and penalties;•    communicate with you about quotes, bookings, payments, itinerary updates, schedule changes, and other operational matters (by email, phone, or text);•    provide customer service and respond to requests, questions, and disputes;•    send you marketing communications where you have not opted out (see Section 7);•    operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and services;•    comply with legal, regulatory, tax, and seller-of-travel obligations, and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

4. How and With Whom We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as needed to arrange your travel and operate our business, including with:•    Travel Suppliers — airlines, cruise lines, hotels, car-rental companies, tour operators, ground-transportation and excursion providers, and other providers necessary to fulfill your booking. Suppliers use your information under their own privacy policies.•    Our host agency, KVI Travel — as the agency of record, KVI processes bookings and payments and maintains records associated with your travel.•    Payment processors and financial institutions — to process transactions and manage chargebacks or disputes.•    Service providers — technology, communications/SMS, hosting, and administrative vendors that support our operations under confidentiality obligations.•    Travel-insurance providers — where you request or purchase insurance through us.•    Legal and safety recipients — government authorities, regulators, or others where required by law, to comply with legal process, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

5. International Data Transfers

The Cruise Boys® operates from the United States, our host agency KVI Travel is located in Canada, and Suppliers may be located anywhere in the world. As a result, your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, Canada, and other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those in your location. By using our services, you acknowledge that your information may be handled as described in this Policy across these jurisdictions. We take reasonable steps to protect your information wherever it is processed.

6. Cookies & Website Analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.

7. Marketing & Text Messages

With your consent where required, we may send you marketing communications about travel offers and promotions. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.If you provide a mobile number, we may send booking-related and, where permitted, promotional text messages. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing any travel services. Operational messages needed to service your booking may still be sent.

8. Your Choices & Rights

You may request to access, correct, or update the personal information we hold about you, ask that we delete information we are not required to keep, and opt out of marketing communications. To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 14. We will respond consistent with applicable law and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local privacy laws (for example, in Canada or in certain U.S. states). We honor rights that apply to you under those laws. Nothing in this Policy limits any right you cannot waive under applicable law.

9. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain business and accounting records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal, tax, and seller-of-travel obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

10. How We Protect Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please help protect your information by keeping your booking communications and credentials confidential.

11. Children’s Privacy

Our services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children except the traveler details a booking adult provides for minors traveling on their reservation. If you believe a child has provided us information directly, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. Third-Party Links

Our website and communications may link to Supplier and other third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites; we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time you provide information or make a booking governs, and we will post the current version with an updated effective date on our website. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above.
